Our samosa manufacturing process combines our tradition, a unique recipe with well-implemented food safety rules and an appropriate technical process for current requirements.
Nowadays the whole process has undergone significant changes in order to meet the requirements set and to comply with established food safety rules. Currently our spices are purchased in bulk, the pastry is prepared industrially and the entire process has sought out more technological aids. But tradition remains in the recipe and in the way of folding samosas as well as in the characteristics of their raw materials. We use technological aids - the quick-freezing process - to ensure that all the unique characteristics of our product reach the consumers' plates.
Since 2007 with the creation of a Food Safety Office, Food Safety has played a leading role in the Company's development.
Our Food Safety Management involves:
- review and qualification of our suppliers;
- control of all raw materials and internal processes;
- providing training to our employees,
- the implementation of a correction and improvement plan, in order for our deep-frozen products to be always of high quality with maximum food safety and in accordance with all legal requirements.
We are also annually subject to audits by people outside our Food Safety Team, to check compliance with legal requirements, the conditions of our facility and our commitment to continuous improvement of our Food Safety management process.
We maintain our Food Safety Management system properly described and established in accordance with European Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 of the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 29th April 2004 and with European Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 29th April 2004.
We also state the application of European Regulation (EC) No.178/2002 of the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 28th January 2002, to all the products we sell.
