Transporting frozen food is the last step in our process and the one that represents the greatest risk because it could compromise food safety and our entire manufacturing process. The temperature during transportation is -18°C (+/- 3°C) to ensure that our products do not suffer any form of thawing or loss of quality.
All our employees are therefore instructed to monitor the temperature during transportation and throughout the delivery route to ensure the best conditions for the product until it reaches our customers' premises.
In addition to the temperature gauge inside the vehicle itself, temperature is also controlled using a special thermometer with a data logger, which is regularly checked and calibrated. Using this equipment and its records its possible to monitor the entire route and demonstrate to our customers the temperature at which our product has been transported.
